Carry on with inspections, tasks, and incident reports from the copy saved on this device when the signal drops.

Work from the saved copy
When the connection drops, field pages reload as a full page and read the data stored on the device. You do not switch on a separate offline mode.
- Stay in LambdaAssetCheck. Home, Inspections, Tasks, and Conduct rounds reload on their own.
- Start an inspection from Inspections → Start New Inspection.
- Select Scan QR Code and point at the asset label. The asset has to belong to a site saved on this device.
- Open Inspections to continue a recent inspection stored on this device.
- Open Work Management → Tasks, open a saved task, and select Update Status.
- Open Incidents → Report Incident and choose a type that was saved with the prepare.
- Open Round configuration → Conduct rounds when you conduct rounds for your group.
Answers you enter are stored on this device.
When the connection returns, Home, Inspections, Tasks, and Conduct rounds go back to the online pages. An inspection you are still conducting, Start New Inspection, and an incident report you are still filling in stay on the offline page until you leave them.
Send the finished work from Sync when you reconnect.
Limitations
- Work requests and work orders are not stored for offline use. The Work list has no offline page. Task updates are the work you can change on the device.
- A printed QR code that opens the public scan address is not the offline scan. Use Scan QR Code on Start New Inspection.
- What never comes offline, and the caps on what does, are listed in Offline limitations.
Frequently asked questions
Will a locked screen drop the answers I already entered?
No. Answers you enter are stored on this device. Open the inspection again from Inspections and continue.
Do I have to open a special offline address?
No. Losing the connection reloads the field page for you. The page then reads the copy on the device.
Can I sign out in the field and hand the phone to someone else?
Sign Out stays unavailable while the device is offline, so the next person cannot send your unsynced work as themselves. Connect first. See Sync when you reconnect.
