What is LambdaAssetCheck?
Last updated: July 2026
LambdaAssetCheck is an operations platform that brings inspections, audits, assets, work, and incidents together in one place — so your team can capture what's happening in the field and act on it. It connects the frontline and the office: your people inspect assets, audit sites, raise issues, turn those issues into trackable work, and analyze it all — online or offline.
This article introduces the platform and the core areas you'll work in. If you're ready to sign in, see Log in to LambdaAssetCheck.
The big picture
LambdaAssetCheck is built around a simple loop that plays out across your whole organization:
- Inspect an asset or site using a digital form.
- Flag anything that fails, and capture photos, notes, and readings as evidence.
- Act on those findings by raising tasks, work orders, or incidents.
- Analyze everything with dashboards and reports, then improve.
Everything is scoped to your organization and controlled by roles, so people only see and do what their job requires.

What you can do
- Templates: Transform your manual checklists into intelligent digital templates with conditional logic, scoring, structured responses, and reusable standards — ensuring consistency across every site.
- Inspections: Conduct high-quality asset inspections with precision. Capture context through photos, notes, and signatures, then instantly generate professional reports aligned to your workflows.
- Audits: Run site-wide audits to verify standards and compliance across a location. Failed answers are automatically flagged for follow-up, so nothing slips through.
- Schedules: Automate recurring inspections and compliance routines. Assign them to the right teams or roles and ensure time-critical activities never fall through the cracks.
- Tasks: Drive accountability with clear, trackable tasks. Assign tasks identified during inspections or created independently, and monitor progress until completion.
- Assets: Gain complete visibility into your assets — maintenance history, meter readings, inspections, QR-based access, and real-time status — centralized for quick decision-making.
- Meters: Monitor critical operational metrics such as engine hours, odometer values, and equipment usage. Synchronize telematics data automatically or capture readings during inspections.
- Work management: Orchestrate work requests and work orders with clarity. Automatically generate work requests and orders from inspections, assign them to groups, and track progress from creation to closure.
- Compliance & flags: Always maintain audit-readiness. Identify, classify, and resolve compliance issues using automated flags, tasks, and structured documentation.
- Incidents: Report, investigate, and resolve incidents through to closure. Scan an incident-type QR code to jump straight into the report form — signed in as a member of your organization, so every report is attributable.
- Analytics & reports: Build dashboards and charts across inspections, work, and incidents, drill into the underlying records, and generate professional inspection reports.
- Mobile app: Enable your workforce to operate anywhere. Conduct inspections offline, scan QR codes, capture evidence, and sync seamlessly once connectivity is restored — all through a progressive web app, with no app store download. See Install the app on your device.
- API integration: Connect LambdaAssetCheck with your existing maintenance systems. Secure REST APIs synchronize asset, employee, and meter data and more — ensuring interoperability across your enterprise ecosystem.
Web app and mobile
You'll do organization setup — settings, users, templates, schedules — from the web app on a laptop or desktop, where there's room to work.
Out in the field, the same app runs on a phone or tablet as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Your team can scan QR codes, capture photos, and conduct inspections offline, syncing automatically once connectivity returns. See Install LambdaAssetCheck on your device.
A typical workflow
A common first-month journey looks like this:
- An administrator logs in and sets up the organization — details, sites, roles, and users.
- The team digitizes its paper checklists into templates.
- Assets are added and given printable QR labels.
- Field users conduct inspections and site audits — from the app or by scanning a QR code.
- Failed answers turn into flags (from audits) and work — tasks and work orders — which are assigned and tracked to completion.
- Leadership watches it all on dashboards and shares reports.
You don't have to do it all at once — start with the areas that matter most to your team.
Where to go next
Follow the five phases in the sidebar (same story as Get started):
- Finish this phase — Log in, Install the app, Navigate.
- Administrators: Prepare your organization.
- Then Digitize, inspect, and improve.
- Field users: jump to Get started as a field user.
- When the loop works, Go live.
