Get started as a field user
Last updated: July 2026
Welcome to the team. This is phase 4 of Get started. Follow these steps in order on your phone or tablet — each one builds on the last.
Step 1: Install the app and sign in
Add LambdaAssetCheck to your device so it opens like any other app — there’s no app store download. Then sign in with the credentials your administrator gave you.
Do this now:
Step 2: Find your way around
Once you’re in, use the sidebar to find what’s assigned to you — inspections, schedules, and tasks.
Do this now: skim Navigate LambdaAssetCheck so you know where Home, Inspections, Work, and Incidents live.
Step 3: Conduct your first inspection
This is the heart of your day: open a form, answer the questions, add photos or notes, and submit.
Do this now: Start, conduct, and complete an inspection
You can pause and continue later — a long inspection never has to be done in one go.
Step 4: Scan a QR code to save time
Instead of searching for an asset, scan its label and jump straight into inspecting it.
Do this now: Scan a QR code to start an inspection
Step 5: Work offline
No signal? Prepare your device before you head out, keep inspecting, and sync when you’re back online.
Do this now: Work offline
Step 6: Report an incident
If something goes wrong, capture it straight away and route it to the right people.
Do this now: Report an incident
