What are schedules?
Learn how schedules work in LambdaAssetCheck, so inspections recur on a cadence with a clear execution window and you can see whether they finished on time.

You need a published template and a target — an asset, asset type, or site. Assign a user or group if someone should own each occurrence.
How schedules work

A schedule links a template, a target, a cadence, and an assignee. The page has three views: My Tasks, Schedule Library, and History.
Create a schedule
- Open Schedules.
- Select New Schedule.
- Enter a Schedule Name and choose the Template (types such as
(ASSET)or(AUDIT)appear in the list). - Add a Description if useful.
- Under Target Selection, choose the asset, asset type, or site.
- Under Assignment, set Assignment Type — Assign to User or Assign to Group — then pick the person or group.
- Under Schedule Configuration, set Frequency: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, or Custom. Do not use Minutely in production — it generates inspections every few minutes and overloads the queue.
- Set Repeat every, plus Day of Week, Day of Month, or Month when those apply.
- Set Start Date and, optionally, End Date (Optional).
- Set the execution window for the frequency (see below). For Daily, Hourly, Minutely, Weekly, and Custom, you can Exclude Days.
- Select Create Schedule.
The execution window
- Daily, Hourly, and Minutely: Start Time and End Time are required. After End Time, the occurrence is overdue.
- Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, and Custom: optionally set Window opens (Optional). The window then closes at the end of that day. If you leave it empty, the window is the full scheduled day.
Completed before the window closes → on time. Missed the window → missed for compliance, even if finished later.
Schedule statuses

| Cancelled | Stopped permanently. |
Each occurrence is tracked separately as due, in progress, or completed.
Track schedule compliance
From Schedules, select Compliance to open Schedule Compliance.
Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days for completion rate, on-time rate, missed, and open missed, plus a by-day chart and an Action items table.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a schedule and a round?
A schedule recurs a single inspection against one target. A round walks an ordered route of several assets — see What are rounds?.
Can I schedule for a whole asset type?
Yes. Choose an asset type under Target Selection.
Can I change a schedule after it is running?
Yes. Pause it, edit, and resume. Changes apply to future occurrences.
Should I use Minutely?
No — not in production. Use Daily or Hourly with Start Time and End Time.
