Analytics quick start
Build your first analytics chart in a few minutes. Analytics turns inspections, audits, flags, work, incidents, and schedules into dashboards you can rearrange, share, and drill into.

Use this guide after your first inspection loop has produced a few completed inspections or follow-up records.
Who can do this: anyone whose role includes access to Analytics. Where: Analytics in the sidebar.
Before you start

| A clear question | For example, "How many inspections finished this month by site?" |
Open Analytics
- Sign in to LambdaAssetCheck.
- Select Analytics in the sidebar.
- Use the period and site filters at the top to set the default scope for the dashboard.
Tiles on the board use that period unless a tile is an as-of-today inventory metric, such as open or overdue counts.
Add a pre-built chart
The fastest path is a ready-made chart:
Add a chart
Asset inspection completion, scores, and trends — plus work items raised from inspections and how that follow-up was closed (root cause × resolution).
Question answer distribution
Choose a checkbox or choice question, then compare answer counts or percentages.
Numeric exceptions by asset
Choose a number or slider question. Shows which assets are outside their own normal range — not 500 charts.

Choose a number or slider question to chart its monthly average with center and 3σ limits.
Inspections by Site
Inspection completion rate
Inspections by Week
Inspection volume by ISO calendar week.
Inspection compliance score
Average inspection score % vs your KPI target (default 90%). Separate from audits on purpose.

Average inspection score % by asset type — where field quality is slipping.

Share of inspection answers that should have created a WR/WO and did. Click for checks with no work attached.
- Select Add chart.
- Pick a subject area, such as Asset inspections or Audits & flags.
- Choose a pre-built chart such as Inspections by Week or Inspections by Site.
- Select Add to dashboard.
The chart appears on your board and the layout saves as you go.
Add a custom chart
When no pre-built chart matches your question, build one:
- Select Add chart > Add custom chart. Wording may vary slightly by subject area.
- Choose a domain: the type of data, such as Inspections, Audits, Incidents, Tasks, Schedules, Assets, or Rounds when enabled.
- Choose a metric: what to measure, such as Count, Completion rate, or Avg. score.
- Add one or two attributes: how to group the data, such as Site, Status, Month, or User.
- Optionally add filters so only matching records are included.
- Pick a chart type and review the preview.
- Save the chart onto your dashboard.

Arrange your dashboard
- Move a tile by dragging its header.
- Resize from the left, right, or bottom edge.
- Use Reset to default if you want to clear custom charts and restore the starter layout.
- Layout changes save automatically on your personal dashboard.
Common first charts
A completion-rate donut is the tile most teams add first. Each tile shows the period it covers under its title.
