My inspection will not submit

What you'll need

Work through these checks

1. If the page says your role can run only asset inspections, or only audits, you cannot finish this one. An administrator grants the other capability on the role. You will not reach Submit.
2. Select Submit. LambdaAssetCheck checks the form first and stays on the inspection when something required is missing. The first problem is brought into view. When there are many, a short summary opens as well. Messages sit beside the questions.
3. Answer every question marked required. A question that conditional logic has hidden is skipped. It does not block Submit.
4. If the answer you chose requires a photo, use Attach Photo and wait until the upload finishes. If it requires a note, enter the note. Submit will not complete while a photo is still uploading.
5. If the page says this in-progress inspection cannot continue because the template is no longer published, ask an administrator to publish it again, or cancel the inspection. An archived template can still be finished. A brand-new draft cannot.
6. A meter question marked not equipped does not block Submit. Leave it that way only when the meter is genuinely absent.

Limitations

• Hidden follow-up questions are not required. Shown ones are, including questions that logic marks required.
• You cannot submit an audit with an inspector-only role, or an asset inspection with an auditor-only role.
• A template row that has been returned to draft blocks an in-progress inspection that still points at that row. Publishing a new version is a different row. Inspections already on an archived copy can still be submitted.

Frequently asked questions

Questions appeared after I answered another one.

That is conditional logic. Answer the new required questions, then select Submit again. Questions that disappeared are no longer required.

The photo is attached but Submit still stops.

Wait until the upload finishes. A photo that is still sending blocks completion. If you saved the inspection offline, the photo stays on the device until it syncs. See My work is not syncing.

I am offline and the template will not load.

The form is not on this device. Connect, or prepare the device first, then reopen the inspection. See The app will not work offline.
