I did not receive my invite email
Find the invite, or confirm it never left, so you can activate the account and sign in.

What you'll need
| Tier | Any plan |
| Platform | Web app |
| Permission | None for the invited person. Creating the account needs the Users capability. Owner and Administrator have it by default. |
| Where | The inbox you were invited on, and Administration → Users / Groups / Sites → Users |
Work through these checks
- Ask an owner or administrator to open Users and confirm your name is in the list. The account is created even when the email fails to send, so a missing message does not mean you were not added.
- Confirm the Email on that user is the inbox you are checking. An address can belong to only one organisation. If it is already in use, LambdaAssetCheck refuses the new user and does not send another invite.
- Search for a message whose subject begins with "You're invited to". A password invite includes Set password & activate account and the link expires 24 hours after the user is created. If your email is on the organisation's single sign-on domain, the invite uses Go to sign in and has no expiring password link.
- Look in spam or junk for that same message before you ask for another.
- If the password link has expired, Forgot password? does not email someone who has never set a password, unless single sign-on is optional for that domain. There is no resend control. Contact support from Support → Report an issue, and track it under Support → My cases.
Limitations
- There is no control to resend an invite. Support has to reissue it.
- The password-setup link expires 24 hours after the user is created. The single sign-on invite does not expire.
- Forgot password? reports success even when no email will be sent.
- Creating the user succeeds even when the email send fails. The row in Users is the proof the account exists.
Frequently asked questions
The administrator says I am already in the list.
The account is there. Only the email failed, or it went to a different address. Confirm Email on the user, then ask support to reissue the invite. Do not create a second user with the same address. That is refused.
I use single sign-on. What should the email look like?
It has Go to sign in and no Set password & activate account button. On the sign-in page, enter your work email and continue with your organisation's single sign-on. Setup problems on that path: Troubleshoot single sign-on.
Can I set a password from Forgot password instead?
Only if your organisation has single sign-on enabled without requiring it, and your email is on a listed domain. Otherwise someone who has never set a password gets no reset email.
