Offline limitations

Look up what a prepared device stores, which jobs work with no signal, and which parts of LambdaAssetCheck stay online.

What prepare stores

Prepare for offline on My Account → Offline health writes this copy, and only while the device is online.

Site assets and QR details	The sites on your account	Organisation-wide access includes every active site. Otherwise, your sites only. A site pack older than 24 hours is no longer ready.
Incident types	The types returned at prepare	Required before Report Incident can open offline.
Offline field pages	The field pages and their scripts	Opened as a full page load from the copy on the device.

With no sites on the account, asset and QR data is skipped. A private or InPrivate window does not keep this copy.

These menu entries reload onto offline pages. You need the permission for that job.

Scan QR Code resolves the asset from the sites saved on the device. An asset outside those sites cannot be started offline.

Work (work requests and work orders)	Not saved. There is no offline Work list.
Assets register, templates, schedules, analytics, administration	No offline page.
Incident log and Flags	You can submit Report Incident. You cannot browse the log or flags.
Sign Out	Unavailable until you are online and waiting work has synced or been discarded.
A second browser, or a device you did not prepare	Has none of this copy.

Clearing site data for LambdaAssetCheck in the browser deletes the copy, including work that has not synced.

What you see	Where	Meaning
Ready for offline	Offline health	Prepare checks passed.
Needs preparation	Offline health	Something required is still missing.
Ready or Missing	Offline health rows	That part of the copy is present or not.
Offline	Inspections list	Captured on this device and not finished on the server.
Syncing	Inspections list	That inspection is being sent.
Sync Failed	Inspections list	The last send failed. The record is still on this device.
dead letter	Failed sync items	Sending stopped. Use Retry, Report, or Discard.
Permanently failed	Header sync detail	The same stopped items.

Discard removes that item from this device and cannot be undone.
