Overview: Prepare your organization

Learn how to set up your organization via the LambdaAssetCheck web app. This is phase 2 of Get started— when you finish, continue to phase 3: digitize checklists and run inspections.

How do I start my LambdaAssetCheck organization?

Begin your LambdaAssetCheck journey by setting up your organization via the web app on a laptop or desktop. Follow along to explore how you can customize your account settings, digitize your paper checklists, and create templates and schedules for your team.

It starts with one form: entering an Organization name creates your organization.

Set up your organization

Work through these areas to get your organization ready. Each one is a short, step-by-step guide.

1. Organizational setup

Managing your organization's information, users, sites, and permissions is a critical first step. Before you begin, we recommend reviewing your organizational structure and anticipating any changes you might need to make.

Consider the following questions to help you prepare:

  • What's your organizational structure?
  • What are your team member's roles in using LambdaAssetCheck?
  • Who among them would need administrative access?
  • Who would be in charge of your LambdaAssetCheck plan and add-ons?
  • How do you and your business want to view and analyze your LambdaAssetCheck data?

2. Digitize checklists

Once you've set up your LambdaAssetCheck organization, it's time to digitize your paper forms. Digitized checklists or templates help your team collect consistent answers, reduce paperwork, and make results available as soon as an inspection is submitted.

Start from a blank template in the template builder, then continue through conducting inspections, managing work and flags, closing findings, and reviewing analytics. See the next overview for the full journey: Digitize checklists and run inspections.
