Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect personal information.

Effective date: July 9, 2026

LambdaAssetCheck Technologies Private Limited ("LambdaAssetCheck", "we", "us") provides a cloud-based inspection and asset management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use our website and services.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website and marketing pages
  • Users of the LambdaAssetCheck application (invited by their organization)
  • Organization administrators who manage accounts and billing
  • Developers integrating with our APIs

When your employer or organization uses LambdaAssetCheck, your organization is typically the data controller for operational data (inspections, assets, work records). We act as a data processor for that data, processing it on their instructions.

2. Information we collect

Account & profile data

Name, email address, phone number (if provided), job title, organization affiliation, role assignments, and authentication credentials (passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in plain text).

Operational data

Inspections, answers, photos, assets, work requests, incidents, schedules, and other content your organization uploads or generates through the service.

Technical & usage data

IP address, browser type, device information, session identifiers, error logs, and diagnostic data submitted with support cases (when you opt in). We use this to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Billing data

Billing contact details and payment status. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the LambdaAssetCheck platform
  • Authenticate users and enforce access controls
  • Send transactional emails (invitations, password reset, notifications)
  • Process billing and subscription management
  • Respond to support requests and investigate errors
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer operational data for advertising.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data based on: performance of our contract with you or your organization; legitimate interests (security, service improvement, support); and legal obligations. Where required, we rely on your organization's lawful basis for operational data they control.

5. Subprocessors

We use third-party providers to host and operate the service. See our subprocessor list on our Security page. We require providers to protect data appropriately and use it only for the contracted purpose.

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Application hosting, managed PostgreSQL, and object storage (when deployed on OCI)
  • DigitalOceanApplication hosting, managed PostgreSQL, and Spaces object storage (when deployed on DigitalOcean)
  • ResendTransactional email (invitations, notifications, password reset)
  • RazorpayPayment processing for subscriptions and billing (billing contacts only)

6. Data retention

We retain data for as long as your organization's subscription is active and as needed to provide the service. After termination, data is deleted according to our retention schedule unless we are legally required to retain it. Organization administrators may contact us regarding data export or deletion requests.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, org-scoped isolation, and monitoring. Details are in our Security page.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in the region where your deployment is hosted and by subprocessors in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses in our Data Processing Agreement.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

For operational data controlled by your employer, contact your organization administrator first. You may also contact us at legal@lambdaassetcheck.com. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use a locale preference cookie for language settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies in the application.

11. Children

The service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
